Artikool PROAPolarized Refrigerant Oil
Additive
Artikool is a
polarized, covalent, nonhalogented blend of synthetic and natural
oils. Artikool isa polarized refrigerant oil additive that can be
used in all types of air conditioning, and refrigeration, and heat
pump systems. Artikool will increase oil lubricity and enhance the
heat transfer of your system. Artikool saves you energy by
decreasing operating cost. This is done by: 1. Lowering head
pressure of the compressor. 2. Increasing compressor oil
lubrication by decreasing the friction. 3. Increases the
compressor life of your unit.
Artikool typically provides
rapid payback on investment and continues to save money in the form
of lower operating expenses and energy savings throughout the life
of your system.

Artikool
Artikool is a
metal conditioner used in extreme pressure situations as an
additive to lubricate the system. This formula is unique in
this industry since it is free from the Halogen group
(chlorine, fluorine, bromine, iodine and astatine) of chemical
elements. These elements of the Halogen group, especially
chlorine and fluorine are known to combine with hydrogen and
form very undesirable (corrosive) hydrochloric acid and
hydrofluoric acid, respectively.
This unique Polarized
Refrigerant Oil Additive (PROA) formula is useful in many
applications, including: consumer, commercial military,
industrial, federal sector refrigeration and chillers,
air-conditioning systems, heat pumps in addition to engines,
and machining and weapons lube. This PROA additive in a system
increases lubricity of refrigerant oils (significantly
enhancing compressor operation and efficiency) and
significantly improved heat transfer in the evaporator and
condensing coils.
Artikool
additive is blended appropriately to the equipment design into
the refrigerant oil reservoir or refrigerant flow. The PROA is
carried with the primary lubricant moving throughout the
system. We refer to the additive as being polarized since
there is covalent molecular bonding that takes place between
the negatively charged Artikool
molecules and the positive charge of the metal surfaces. Each
Artikool negatively charged molecule
attaches to the metal surfaces inside the system; these
surfaces are conditioned, displacing dirt, carbon deposits
(coking) and lubrication oil build-up. Eventually a thin layer
one molecule thick is formed of Artikool in the system; providing optimum
conditions for efficient thermal conductivity within the heat
exchanger system or refrigeration/air conditioning equipment.
In addition, Artikool provides
greatly enhanced lubrication to all moving parts of
refrigeration equipment under extreme pressure.

Case Study: The Federal Energy Management Program,
a part of the U.S. Department of Energy quotes a study in the
City of Austin
Texas. They
conducted a test on a large gymnasium served by six 10-year
old, 10-ton (35kW) packaged Lennox
air-conditioners. All six units were tuned up, filters
charged, belts adjusted, and refrigerant charges checked. When
a PROA was added the study found that the compressor ran
significantly quieter. The energy consumption was reduced 22%
